Many wereexcited for the long weekendand either stayed at home orspent time with friends.Junior Colin Prince spenthis five day weekend hangingout with friends.I liked thesnow days because it gaveme time to relax withoutworrying about school, saidPrince. Although it was fun tostay home and relax, juniorJordan Monson still didschoolwork. I had to studyquite a bit because I wassupposed to have two testson Friday but they keptgetting pushed back,Monson said. For Monson, thiswas a downside to theminiature winter break.Besides just hanging outwith friends and studying, freshman Theodore Gonyeawent skiing twice. He enjoyedthis activity because it got himout of his house and active. Some students spent timestudying, like Monson, whileothers spent their time withfriends, like Prince andGonyea did over the longweekend. Although studentsspent their time off in differentways, all of South definitelyappreciated the five dayweekend.-Abigail ArvinperspectiveoDonnell Whiteseniorwould you prefer a snow day or a twohour delay?A: Id much rather have a two hour delay. Why?A: Because you do not have to make thoseup.
