Preparing towalk the runway on the night of the show was aprofoundly memorable part of the experience for themodels. These dedicated models spent their time inand out of school to pull together a great show full ofgorgeous dresses available for purchase. All of themoney raised supported Riley Hospital for Children.Fashion Club members worked to put on theevent. Senior Sophia Puzzello was an integral partof the team. The show was hard to get together,Puzzello said. There was a lot of planning that wentinto the auditions and the show. The models wentthrough auditions to see what dresses would fit themand look the best. During Panther Plus times, seniorMikayla Muzii and other models filled thebathrooms to see which dresses were best for eachmodel. It was very cool to see how many dressesthere were, Muzii said. Trying them on was a lot offun for us.During the show, some girls wore only one dress,while others wore up to three dresses. Themodelswho walked in the show benefited greatly frombeing able to try on dresses and get ready like theywould for prom. Even though I didnt buy a dressfrom the show, getting to try them on helped medecide what kind of dress I wanted to wear for prom,junior Madeline Elkins said.The models, including junior Kaitlinn Clarkspent the afternoon of the show primping thanks to ahelpful team of stylists. People from Tricoci Universityof Beauty Culture came before to get us ready to goon, Clark said. I liked feeling pampered. Theprofessional team of stylists that primed the modelsmanaged to make everyone look fabulous while alsohaving fun with it. The experience was taken to awhole new level after we had jewelry, hair andmakeup to pull all the looks together, Muzzi said.Getting ready was one of my favorite parts. Thepoints before the show made the girls feel good aboutthemselves while also benefiting a great cause. Iliked knowing what I was doing was going to benefit agreat organization, Clark said.
