The showfeatured talented youth from the Bloomington community, including junior Madeline Elkinsand senior Audrey Bannec.IIBeing able to see the whole showcome together from the firstpractice to the last was one ofthe best parts of the experience.The day of the show was verynerve-wracking because therewere about 2,000 people, but itwas all worth it in the end.-junior Madeline ElkinsPerforming in the Chimes ofChristmas was a wonderfulexperience. We got to performwith the Indiana UniversitySinging Hoosiers, which wasreally cool. They gave us greatpointers, and I didnt feel asnervous for the show.- senior Audrey BannecMla aptSophomore Nicholas Anderson attended this years Krampus event downtown.Q: What is the story behind Krampus?A: Its a Germanic folktale about the evil Santa who goes around behind St. Nicholas and steals the bad little kids.Q: What was the event like?A: It was pretty crazy and definitely different than the regular celebration of the holidays. There were lots of peopledressed up as the Krampus monsters, and they were running after the people labeled naughty, like I was.Q: Were you scared?A: Yeah, I was pretty scared, but it was really fun.
