Adams will beplaying for Indiana UniversityKokomo and Sokeland for LewisUniversity. Both of the players receivedathletic and academic scholarships. These scholarships are not easy tocome by as they take a lot of outsidework and years of dedication. Adamsobsession with volleyball started at anearly age as far back as third grade. Iloved it so much I continued playing. Iplayed Pantera in 7th grade thenHoosierland 8th and my whole highschool career. The seniors agreed thattheir success in their sport was becauseof the different skills they learned inclub and their high school seasons.Sokeland said that South volleyballtaught me how to rely on myteammates and how the sport reallydepends on communication. Adamsalso agreed and added MyHoosierland coach and team helped mea lot on my personal goals and gettingbetter for myself on the team. I am sograteful for both of my teams because ithas been my dream since I was little toplay in college. The trend of college level athleteswill continue to be produced atBloomington High School South asnext years team will be highlycomprised of senior varsity girls ofwhich are heavily involved in otherclub teams as well.-JACKSON MAHURONEGYPTIAN ANDGERMAN TEAMSDISPLAY CULTURALDIVERSITYAUG. 7,2016On August 7, 2016 the womensEgyptian beach volleyball teambroke cultural barriers at the RioOlympics as they dressed in thetraditional burka to play theGerman team.
