The teammay not have won many times, but there werekey performances that made this seasonmemorable. The boys tied Bloomington North forthe Sectional title and placed tenth at the^ State finals as a team. Junior Deakin Volzplaced first at the State Finals in pole vault -breaking the state record with 1 7 feet andj^ 0.5 inches - and senior Alexander Olsonplaced third in high jump.PHOTOS BY HALLIE PEDERSENThe boys golf team had a stellar year. Keyappearances and wins were apparent throughout theyear, but included second place at the ConferenceIndiana tournament, first place at the MooresvilleInvitational, first place against Bedford NorthLawrence and a first place finish at the Sectional golftournament.
