Description: For the first time ever, the softball team won Regionals and Semi-State. This feat wascompleted thanks to key players like seniors Elizabeth Getz, Mena Fulton andWhitney Ennis, who will be playing softball at DePauw University, Indiana Universityand IUPFW next year, respectively.*Iu,2cState champions in Jazz. Thirdin Poms. Nothing more needsto be said about the danceteam this season. Fromperforming during half time atthe boys basketball andfootball games to competingat the State finals, the girlswere solid and performed tothe best of their ability throughthe whole season.GIRLS TENNISThe girls tennis team was full of success this year,thanks to key players and their determination. Theteams regular season record was 1 2-4, beatinggood teams like Bloomington Northand Perry Meridian. In the postseason the girls beat bothMartinsville andBedford Nortn^^H |& Lawrence,but lost to North. The^Sk girlswere very successful throughout the regularseason, however, showing this success bywinning Conference with a 5-0 record. Thejunior varsity record was 9-1. Juniorand number one singles player Denise Azcuiwill be going to the State finals.*The baseball team had a great season,with many good wins and an overallwinning season. The team had a 17-7regular season record, and a ConferenceIndiana record of 4-1, which means theyplaced second in their conference. Thejunior varsity team had a record of 9-4and the freshman team had a record of 7-3. Both of these young teams beat othergood players, which means that they willcontribute quite a bit next season.BASEBALLState results unavailable at the time of publishingThe girls track team sprinted to the finishline this season, finishing their regular ^Oseason with Sectional and Regional titles.Sophomore Megan Grabowski placed10th in the 100 meter dash and as amember of the 4x100 team, with othermembers finding additional success.
