The crowd at the Soma tent dances to Ethiopian soul and funk music from Debo Band at Fridays concert during the 20th annual Lotus World Music and Arts Festival. The festival included threeevenings of live music, concerts at Third Street Park, the Lotus parade through downtown Bloomington, and a creative and interactive art display at the Lotus Arts Village, located on Fifth Street. Amember of Debo Band plays a set, the first of three concerts on Friday night. The sun sets over a sculpture made of bicycles wheels, which was on display at the Arts Village. Offering additionalentertainment for festival-goers, the Village also included chalk art open to the public and an interactive exhibit celebrating the festivals 20th anniversary. A colorful flag welcomes festival-goers tothe Arts Village. The iconic lotus flower, the symbol of the festival, illuminates the side of a brick building near Kirkwood Avenue.
