One of thegroups creators, junior QuintonMcNeil, calmly stood at the headof the madness, ready to initiatewhat would no doubt be athoroughly engaging socialexperiment.McNeil was inspired to startan Assassins game after trying it outat a physics camp at NorthwesternUniversity over the summer. McNeilimagined that instating Assassins atSouth would be very attractive tothe student body. He was right. Thegames fresh take on tag wasincredibly popular, attractingnearly 200 students to the atriumfor marker distribution onNovember 7.McNeil had handed outaround half of the over 240markers he intended to dispensewhen he received word thatAssassins would not be allowed atSouth. McNeil admitted that hehad his worries about it getting outof hand, but he did not expect theinstant shutdown Assassins receivedfrom administration.
