The flora preparedfor long months of heat, casting off spring blossoms andtaking on a warm, green hue. Bloomington Southstudents, too, welcomed the summer season, basking inthe success of their achievements during the school yearand contemplating the many enriching opportunities ofsummer. As the summer drew to a close, the studentsreturned to South and reveled in the possibilities that theupcoming year would hold. Seeking to extend the lazypleasures of summer to the more rigorous school year,students transferred their focus from summer camps andvacations to school and community activities thatguaranteed leisure, relishing the celebratoryAl^fcV* *the plants that spent the summer months absorbing theradiant sun, residents also luxuriated in the blissfuldelights of summer.
