Description: StSLIon the riseFreshman Ronald Schneider had been playing tennis since the age of four with his fatherand Coach Ken Hydinger (former Indiana University mens tennis coach and currentBloomington North coach). He spent a lot of his life practicing and entering in tournamentsindividually. He tried to get around three hours a day of practice. This year he had to makethe transition of not just playing for himself but for six other teammates as well as coachesand fans. Its all about the team, he said,During the season, Schneider unfortunately injured his right thumb during gym class,preventing him from playing with his right hand. However this did not stop him fromcontinuing the season.To the teams great fortune, he recovered before sectionals came around. He put forth hisbest effort and was a giant help when it came to their success.
