Description: the best and worst of LOTSAbove: Along with a few Bloomington North students, South seniors Whitney Croft,Marilyn Welton and Lelia Brown introduce themselves to their future cabin-mates andtrail groups from Childs Elementary.We had one girl who had to go to the bathroomevery half hour. It was bad on the all-day hikebecause there was poison ivy everywhere, so Ihad to find a safe spot for her because she wouldget really sick otherwise. —senior Katie BynumIt started pouring, so we had to run into abuilding and try to get 100 kids to settle down,but LOTS was the most fun Ive had senior year.I remember thinking my LOTS seniors were socool when I went [to Bradford Woods] in fifthgrade. —senior Eva BlacconiereWe actually had to send one girl home forthrowing rocks at other people and doing thingslike that. It was hard to evade the kids after thatbecause we didnt want to tell them what happened. But I loved all the LOTS games like theDutch auction. —senior Kyla GalyanIt poured all day on our all-day hike. The kidsdidnt mind though, they just wanted to play. Fifthgraders arent as crazy as they seem, they look upto you. —senior Kelsey Coyt is your advice to future LOTS seniors?• A.J\, You have to make sure the kids are having fun, and beenergetic. You cant let the kids know that youre tired.
