South keeps school board very busyThe Monroe County CommunitySchool Corporation (MCCSC),headed by Supt. Dr. Ronald Walton,repaired many damaged items in areaschools. Mr. Dave Staver, assistantsuperintendent, also helped answerquestions from parents.School Board meetings providedsolutions to many problems. Headingthe list was the decision to spendabout $56,000 on the remodeling ofthe BHS South track. The proposedtrack will be an all-weather surfacecomposed of artificial materials. Thesurface is semi-soft unless the temperature exceeds 85 degrees.Other improvements proposed forBHSS included new business machinesand musical instruments.
