Shes a reallynice and sweet girl. It was a goodexperience because of the crowd ofpeople that followed us around (Ihave to get used to it sometime),and because I knew that I wouldnever play with anyone better,Hamilton said. Watching herplay, I realized she doesnt show itwhen she gets mad. The girlsmissed school that day.Missing school for thetournament made the trip a lotbetter. Plus it was good practice forSectional, junior Emily Dyott said.game over the summer, in hopes ofimprovement.We all practiced our shortgame a lot, and we got betterbecause of it. I myself practicednearly every day, and I took 10strokes off of my score from theyear before, junior Rachel Kinsersaid.^^^^^^^rwwcomersThe team received two newplayers at the start of the season.We helped the new girls adjustto the game by having them playthe course with us a couple oftimes. The more experiencedplayers gave them pointers andanswered their questions. We allbecame really good friends, andthey felt more comfortable aroundus to ask questions, seniorLindsay Hacker said.pregame ritualThe team practiced their shortBefore each meet the teamcarried out rituals for good luck.One thing we had was psychesisters. Wed give each other something, like candy, before eachmeet to psyche each other up.We had a lot of inside jokes, too.
