Finally on December 312, when the US Supreme Courtreversed the Florida Supreme Courtsdecision to recount the ballots,effectively making George W. Bush thenext president.29-year IU basketball coach BobKnight was fired on September 10,2000 after a 19-year old student,Kent Harvey claimed that Knighthad violently grabbed him andlectured him about his manners.The university had a zero-tolerancepolicy regarding Knight, and thisincident resulted in his dismissal.ALookOn November 7th,2000, a bomb threatwas called in to theschool.
