Soon you findyour head jerking up when the bellrings.Between boringmovies, late-nightstudying, jobs,extracurricularinvolvement andsometimes not gettingenough sleep at nightmeant catching a fewextra zs during theschool day.Freshman SteveSutherlin said, I onlydo it (sleeping)during movies.Junior LoriWhiteheadcommented thatstudents slept in classsince they were tiredand its (class)boring.Senior Mike Moore said, Trying tokeep up with classes and still trying todo stuff with friends makes it hard tostay awake in class.Senior Chad Moore said, A lack ofinterest about what the teacher istalking about, caused him to be tiredthroughout the day. He also said, Ido have a problem staying up too late,reading, messing around, doingsomething.I just stay up too late, senior NickMiller said.Some students had jobs that cutinto their sleeping time.
