Description: Saltzmanleads 75swim teamAn inexperienced BHSS swimmingteam won one swim meet and tied onein the 1974-75 season. The win cameover Seymour, 89-83; and the tie waswith Carmel, 86-86. Even though victories werent numerous, the swimmers worked hard all year and constantly cut their times. The work paidoff with a fifth-place sectional finish.Junior Andy Saltzman was especially successful. He qualified for thestate swim meet at Muncie in twoevents, the 200 and 500 freestyle; heplaced eighth in the 200.Other consistent swimmers were TyParmenter in the butterfly, Dave Tytein the breaststroke, and Jay Steele inthe 50 and 100 freestyle events.LEFT PAGE.
