Although it was alosing season they came through toplace second at the state competition. Some of the players were disappointed by the lack of support bythe school. Not many people wentto Indianapolis with the team to cheerthem on, because some did not thinkthat they had a good chance. Ithought second place was a great accomplishment after such a hard season, commented senior Chris Robinson.The players were proud to comeback to Bloomington after placingsecond. It was a hard year, but bycomparing it to last season we madea lot of improvements, both in moraland physical victories, sophomoreEric Loftman stated. Junior DavidBaker was not as enthusiastic, It wasnice getting second at state after losing so many games ... nice to havea short winning streak.The coaches showed great pridein the efforts of the team. Assistantcoach Guy Loftman said, Im veryproud of my players. They hungtough through the season. They loveto play hockey and they show it intheir determination.
