While maintaining a4.0 GPA, she has been amember of Sophomore Advisory Board, and served as Social Vice-President of herYouth Group as well as competing in girls Cross Countryand Track at the varsity level.Twice a semi-state competitorin Cross Country, she also ranthe 3,200 at the Regionalcompetition in Track as afreshman.Karen stated that she believes having to balance herathletics and with her otheractivities has helped her withher academic responsibilities.She said, Cross Country andTrack have done a great dealto increase my confidence inmy abilities.Karen has enjoyed the lasttwo years, The past twoyears of high school havebeen an incredible experiencefor me.
