Description: |
Not only are these three juniors close friends, but they are triplets.Bloomington South has their very own set ofextraordinary triplets. Juniors Joshua,Nathaniel and Samuel McRoberts movedto Bloomington this year after spendingabout a year and a half in Texas and therest of their time in other parts of Indiana.Their uniqueness comes not only from theirtriplicate, but they also have 12 year oldtwin brothers named Joey and Jake. As awhole family, they do some intriguing thingsboth together and separately.Their looks and ages are not the onlyqualities these brothers share. The three ofthem work at Chick-fil-A. Spending theschool day, work shift and home lifetogether does not faze the McRoberts boys.We dont tend to get into any physicalfights or even verbal fights because we areolder and more mature, Nathaniel said. Abrotherhood does not guarantee afriendship, but the boys feel lucky to haveboth. At about seven years old, all of theMcRoberts children were featured in thetelevision series, Nanny 9-1-1. Theywanted us because triplets and twins in thesame family doesnt happen very often,Samuel explained. According to thebrothers, the majority of the show wasartificial action, however, some of it wasreal. As most seven year olds do, theMcRoberts brothers began bickering withone another more frequently, making thequarrels on the show more believable.Despite the multitude of sharedexperiences, as the McRoberts triplets havegrown up, only one has chosen to follow inthe family business. The McRoberts familyowns the Bloomington Boxing Club andJoshua is the sole triplet involved. He hascompeted in numerous boxing competitions.I work hard in bettering my skills andimproving before each competition, Joshuasaid. Most of Joshuas free time is devotedto the boxing club, both working on his owncraft and training other boxers. While each brother finds his ownniche, it is clear that this band of brothershas committed to one another as strongly asthey have to their own individuality.— -BAILEY UNDERWOODNathaniel HuffmanEli HughesRoyce HurstBenjanDustin JacksonJames Jacobs |
