Meaningful scienceDuring the 1992-93 schoolyear, Bloomington South waschosen as one of 92 schoolsworldwide to be part of a scientific research project calledthe Global Lab Project. Aspart of this group, some science students from Southtook indoor air samples, tested soil and ozone levels;many of the techniques usedto test the ozone had neverbefore been used.The project is in its thirdyear, and the ultimate goal isto have 1000 schools from allAnna Gilmore, John Reeves, JoshParks and Eleanor Rust try to decidewhich site to revitalize at Lake Mon-over the globe working in cooperation.
