*■Issues of todayThe Fellowship of Christian Athletes, or FCA, provided a time for some students at South to gettogether and talk about different issues. The meetingswere about topics that had todo with what the group considered problems in theworld today, while it also tiedin with the morals of theirreligion. It was a friendly,social gathering, and wecould all comfortably express how we felt, said junior Shawn Waggener.The meetings had something to do with religion, butmore to do with the issues oftoday. So any person ...was made welcome, saidFCA member Rachel Gantz.Rachel Gantz thinks about the perfect world she has pictured after anFCA meeting.The group had a few fundraisers such as theCROPWALK, which was tobenefit the hungry. They alsosold raffle tickets for theSenior Citizens NutritionProject.The year went well, saidsponsor Larry Williams. Wehad the largest number ofpeople at the meetings compared to the last two or threeyears. It was nice to see thenumber of younger studentsthat wanted to become involved.
