TheSounds of South maintainedan attitude of persistence,hard work, and cooperation,Witten-Upchurch said.The people in madrigals(Sounds of South) were really a group that lends itself tobeing together, said studentMark Bays. They worked together to perform in Washington, D.C., in a contest ofeight music groups selectedfrom the nations best. TheSounds of South placed thirdin this competition.
