Description: KnowledgeThe Bloomington Southchapter of the Business Professionals of Americabrightened up their schooland community last year.They visited the elderly atHospitality House, prepareda Thanksgiving basket, andsponsored a winter mittendrive for the SalvationArmy. At South, the BPAdecorated hallways andclassroom doors for Christmas. They also created abulletin board in support ofthe troops serving in thePersian Gulf.The members of BPA participated in regional andstate competitions lastyear. We really encouragethe competitive spirit,Trinkle said. Eight studentsfrom South went on to thestate competition, four ofwhich won in two events.Cindy McMeal, Debbieneidigh, and Angel Woodtook first place in theirareas.
