Description: Team works to win stateWhen the four membersof the Hoosier Super BowlFine Arts team talked aboutLeonardo, Michelangelo,Donatello, and Raphael lastyear, they were not talkingabout the Teenage Mutantninja Turtles. Instead,these students were working hard to prepare for theHoosier Super Bowl competition on the Italian Renaissance.Working on their own, theteam won first place in regionals and went on to become the state champions.We put so much effort intoit. ...It was a welcome surprise, said team memberElizabeth Sluder. To prepare for the competition,the team stayed afterschool every day for severalhours.
