Theclass lets students readand express opinionsabout cases, and explainsthe legal jargon in insurance and employmentcontracts. The students getto participate in a mock trial where they are the attorneys, judge, and jury.They also visit local courtsto gain a real understanding of the system.Bushert also teaches accounting 1-2 and 3-4. In accounting, students learn tokeep records, balancebooks, and prepare payrolls. Besides business lawand accounting, the business department also offers typing, computers,and business procedures.64
