Coach Jan Britton appreciated the teams attitude, stating that it was excellent. . . the team showed somegood sportsmanship in sometough situations. The schedule created somedisadvantage for the teambecause it included only twohome meets, added Britton. The team travelled to manyaway courses such as OtterCreek and Hulman Links whichaccording to Jill Habbe aremuch more difficult than theteams home course, QuailRidge.Senior Christine Wattles saidthat the record, (7 and 8),didnt really tell how well wedid, because of all our awaymeets, but the season did proveto be a good experience.Britton credited sophomoreAmy McDonald with pullingthe team to many victories.McDonald was a first placemedalist in the SCC tourney, and also placed first in sectionals, thus advancing individually to regionals. She alsoreceived the B-man award.94 GirlsGolfFour year golfer StephanieTopolgus concentrates on a putt.
