Description:	tHIRTY-SIX GIRLS, KNOWN ASTHE BHS SOUTH POMPETTES,POOLED ENERGY, SKILLS, ANDenthusiasm in support of BHSSathletic teams. Organizing caravansto games, performing skits, and preparing baked goods for the teamswere all ways in which the Pompettesdemonstrated support.The squad, sponsored by Mrs. GailMcCormack and headed by captainJanet McCoy with assistant StephanieRogers, attended a one-week campat Ball State University in early July.There the Pompettes prepared forhalftime performances at each of thehome basketball and football games.Winning first-place ribbons for outstanding daily achievement duringthe week were senior Val Sipes; juniors Sarah Eherenman, BobbieGrindstaff, and Nancy Hyde; sophomore Debbie Heath; and freshmanJill Abram.Sponsored by Miss Carole Snell,the Booster Club members spent manyextra hours making signs and preparing food for team members.iippTOP: Pompettes perform on the astro turfin the Indiana University stadium duringhalftime of the BHSS-North Central game.BOTTOM LEFT: Jenny Holtzman and JanetCampbell help boost Panther spirit.BOOSTER CLUB.
