Students atBloomington South are no exception. They have no problemwhen it comes to having fun.Every Friday and Saturdaynight, you could find almostanyone in front of Spaceport,while other South studentscould be found at the IndianaUniversity Union. Still othersdrove around Bloomingtonlooking for prospects.South sophomore TinaFreeman said, I usually spentweekends with my aunt who isonly a few years older thanmyself. On Friday and Saturday nights we liked to go toparties, or if we didnt know ofany, wed make our own.Other South students spenttheir weekends catching up onthings theyd neglected duringthe school week. I ended upsleeping a lot of the time, saidjunior William Elison of hisweekends. Then, he added,maybe I would go to a midnight movie or catch up onsome reading.Going to parties and spending time with friends was important for other Panthers.Senior Aaron Mintz commented, I usually went overto my house with a few friends,and we ... well, we had a goodtime.Freshman Libby Andersonsaid that in addition to goingout with her friends on theweekends, she also held downa job at Breslers. But said thatafter work got out she and herfriends would go downtown.Whether South students par-tied, worked, played videogames, or just hung-out attheir favorite establishments, itwould be pretty safe to saythat a good time was had byall.Senior Dan Fierst spends a couplehours a day playing his drums.
