Description: samPompettes earn honorsfor skillful routines ■Souths Pompettes began the yearwith top honors in marching and talentshow competition.These awards were compiled by the32-girl squad while attending a week-long camp at Ball State University inMuncie. Senior Lisa Nonweiler was chosen the most outstanding marcher of allthe girls attending the camp.Fundamental skills, as well as marching and pom-pon routines, learned at thecamp were helpful in performancesthroughout the year.Panther hats and mittens and TomWatt items were sold to raise money tosponsor fan buses.
