Havingthree other girls to run withalways pushes me to goharder and faster. I know theywill be there to cheer me onand help me do my best! I likethe 800 because \t is a mid-distance event - I can go fastbut dont have to sprint allout.balancing running, schooland sleep. On meet days youusually get home very lateand getting homework doneand still getting to sleep at areasonable hour is impossible.But I have definitely gottenbetter at time managementas a result.part otWhats your favoritetrack in general?Hendricks: I love the socialaspect of track, of course Ienjoy working out outside andbeing with friends.Galuska: My favorite part oftrack is getting to spend timewith my friends. Running hasintroduced me to all of mybest friends, and I love gettinqto spend practice with themeveryday.Whats the hardest part aboutwhat you do?Hendricks: The sprint workoutswhen it gets warmer getpretty tough. We begintraining for sectionals, so wereally have to push ourselvesm the heat.Galuska: The hardest partabout track has beenAWhat do each of you think is thedifference between sprintingand distance?Hendricks: Theres notnecessarily a strategy tosprinting; you just run as fast asyou can.
