FreshmenJack Townsend, Timothy Brewster, and Max Graf are working hard to find their placeas they look for ways to further the progress of the team this year and in years tocome. Its really shown me that you cant take things for granted, and you have towork hard in order to be successful, Brewster said. You cant just fool around withyour friends. You have to focus on one thing. If you want to be really good at it, youhave to put the time and effort in. Brewster has been playing organized basketballsince fourth grade, but it has always been part of his life as he grew up watching hisolder brother play the sport. The freshmen have been handed many opportunities dueto basketball, and have met lots of people because of such opportunities. [Ive] traveledall over the country and played in a lot of places, Townsend said. Graf, who has beenplaying since he was four, said that he found friendship through basketball.
