Youcant be right or wrong, and you cant master everytype of art, Briggs said.Art is a type of release for Briggs and she feels gooddoing it. A lot of her work has been inspired by traveland the outdoors. This summer she had the opportunityto go to Asia because of her fathers work.Being introduced to a completely different culturewas a very inspirational thing. I also I really love natureand I think I pull a lot of inspiration from that, Briggssaid. A few months ago I got to go to Colorado, whichwas the first time I ever got to see real mountains and itinspired my a lot to start drawing more.Briggs plans to major in Fine Arts when she goes tocollege so she can be a freelance artist that travels. If I do really well I could get a business minor andopen my own art store. Im a people person so it wouldbe good for me, Briggs said.As a small side project, Briggs sells t-shirts that shedesigns herself. Usually she draws on the shirts withSharpie markers and sells them for $ 15.I am an artist sent from god himself to bring thehuman race joy in the form of t-shirts, Briggs said.Alexander Wray Victoria WrightCaleb Zogorski\l45 |
