Description: With Bailey Anderson, Hannah Densford,Morgan Grubb, and Emily Ridgeuof our main goals thisseason is to cut out all thedrama and fighting. We allwanna get along this seasonand have a good one andhopefully pull out some wins.In every girls sport, theresso much drama. Especially ina sport with bats.Describe a typical prouctice. Describe your position.Hannah Densford: A typical practice usually includes warm up with throwing. Then we usually take the field and he hitsus with balls. And then we bat sometimes, sometimes we dont. It depends on how hes feeling. And we dive a lot. Well,I play right field mostly, but the last game I had to play left field because somebody was missing. And ya know, theresoutfield. Fly balls is mostly what happens in the outfield. And youve gotta throw them in. Oh and some people might sayI have a good arm, but I dont necessarily agree with that all the time.Morgan Grubb: Hannah Dansford has a cannon.Bailey Anderson: I play right field. Most of the balls that are played in the outfield come in the air. And other thanthat, they just roll in on the ground. And its really important to hit your cut. And right field runs a lot because you haveto back up all the way to first base so its a very tiring position. And the sun is always in your eyes no matter whereyoure playing right field.Emily Ridge: I play left field. But I had to play center last game and today. In left field, you have to back up third base. You have a lot of balls to fence that you have to get. Otherwise, you just catch it in the air.Morgan Grubb: I play everywhere in the in field. Mostly what we get are our line drives and ground balls and usuallythe plays up first so you have to play on the ball and then throw it to first. Or you have to know where all the runnersare and try to get the lead runner every time.Vhat are you hopina to aoheve this season?Emily: We wanna win some games. Maybe greater than 10.Bailey: One of our main goals this season is to cut out all the drama and fighting. We all wanna get along this seasonand have a good one and hopefully pull out some wins. In every girls sport, theres so much drama. Especially in asport with bats.Bailey A.-How do you det focused for a dame?Emily: I usually listen to Pandora on the bus, and then go to the game and Im ready.Bailey: We usually start out by having a picnic in the back of Morgans truck. And then we get on the bus and we listento our iPods and read The Hunger Games, and then get into Hunger Games discussions. And then before games, we actout if we were in the Hunger Games, who we would take out. Thats how we get pumped for games.Hannah: I usually just listen to music and listen to their conversations and put my ideas on who I would take out first inthe Hunger Games.-How do you duys bond as a team?Hannah: Having discussions over the Hunger Games.Morgan: We hang out at Bailey Andersons house a lot. We play Just Dance, swim in the pool, and move the trampolinefrom one persons house to another. Thats pretty much all we do.id we go to dinner, which thankfully Aiken pays for.We spend the night at my house. We play games at North. We had a messy game day where we had competitions and alot of people got eggs on their head. And our field is still covered in eggs.
