Description:	colophonVolume 36 of the Bloomington High School North Nikean was produced during second period on Maroon days in room 709 by a staff of 29 membersunder the supervision of Editors in Chief Lauren Deckard and Elizabeth Robins and the guidance of Adviser Ryan Gunterman.The 2008 Nikean was published in Edwardsville, Kan. by Herff Jones. Cathy Wines of Plainfield, Ind. served as the staffs yearbook representative andDebbie Thomas served as the plant consultant in Edwardsville. Six hundred and 50 copies of the publication were printed.The cover and spreads were designed by the editorial management team.The book was produced on 11 Dell PC computers while using Adobe programs InDesign CS2 and Photoshop 6. He died atthe age of 17 on July 12,2007 in Bloomington.He attended North untilthe middle of his junior year,when he transferred to Aurora. He was going to be asenior at Aurora this fall.Halstead is survived by hismother Robin Purtlebaugh,his father Kevin Halstead, and his sister LaylaPurtlebaugh.In memoriam: Kathy StephensKathy Stephens was bornJuly 4, 1952. She died onMarch 19, 2008, in Bloomington.Stephens was a graduate of Indiana University.She worked at RCA and theMeadows Hospital beforeshe started teaching mathat North in 2006.Stephens is survived byher husband Roger, her daughters Rebecca Millerand Beth Ann Fulford, her three grandchildren,her mother and step-father Judy and Wesley Baker, her step-mother Linda Perry and her six brothers and sisters.Colophon 1241
