Description: North Welcomes Lady SoftballersBloomington North wastreated to its very first softballteam this spring. The newLady Cougars had a seasonfilled with ups and downs butcame through it all with a decent first year record of 6-12.Their season ended with atough loss to Brown County inthe semi-finals of sectionals.When asked about coaching this Pioneer team, Assistant Coach Brickley said, Ienjoyed coaching, and the girlshad a good attitude towardplaying. I think the girls hadfun. This year we concentratedmostly on the fundamentalsbecause we figure it will take acouple of years before we havea winning tradition.The winning tradition Mr.Brickley speaks of looks promising in the next few years because of a strong upperclass-men turnout.
