They tied for 1st place in the Sectionals,2nd in the Regionals and came in 11th in the State playoffs in Batesville.Coach Fielding is looking for the same miracle tohappen this year. He hopes to take his golfers rightback to Batesville to the State Championship.The two returning lettermen this spring include KenBeatty and Bob Hasty. They both had great seasons lastyear and are looking forward to this season.Steve Stoia, a junior runner-up in the city, and MikeTrisler, Eric Rumple, Kent Carol, Jeff Helton, and TomDixon all saw varsity action in the fall session and theyare also anticipating the coming spring season.The Cougar Golfers have a tough schedule butCoach Fielding has confidence that theyll come out ontop.62■»w^gmmy |
