Description: A nother year has passed^^ by, and the seniors aremoving on, all to lead theirown lives, to walk their ownpaths. Wherever they endup, wherever their wandering feet lead, they willalways look back at theirlast year as the class of 83.There are many eventsthat highlighted our lastyear at Bloomington North. Some memories bring asmile to our faces, whileothers bring a cloud to theheart. Some on a nationwide scale, others thatstrike close to home. Tenyears from now some willremember 83 as the yearthe nation said goodbye toBear Bryant, or the yearBloomington mourned thedeath of Kent Manuel. Some will look at 83 as theyear E.T. captured ourhearts . . .not to mentionour pocketbooks, orpossibly as the year Saturday morning cartoons weretaken over by the Smurfs.Still, others mayremember 83 as the yearSouthern Indianas JohnCougar enjoyed twosimultaneous Top 10 hits, and the Bloomingtonpunk revolution was infull swing at the NationalHonor Society TalentShow. Some people willlook back at 83 as the yearOld Man Winter forgotBloomington, while otherswill think of some personaltriumph or tragedy thatmade 83 an outstandingmemory to keep with themfor life. Regardless ofwhat stands out in yourmemory, we should look atthis year as the last of ourcare-free days, and afterfour years of learning, sharing, and growing with thepeople around us, this classis now ready to go out andtackle life. Or, to put itanother way-GO FORTHE GOLD 83!llZ Closing
