Description: And the Show Goes on ...Norths theatre department was as strong asever this year. The yearbegan without a sponsorand it was wondered ifthere would even be adrama department. Manystudents expressed thewant for a sponsor, andPrincipal James Harvey wasable to find one, PatGleeson. The students arevery pleased with her, andBruce Lindman said hethought she was a reallygood director!The department endedthe 1981-82 school yearwith a spectacular performance of The PajamaGame. This year theystarted off with severalshort one acts. Several ofthe members had solo performances. For their nextproduction, they didTwain by the Tale. People in the whole schoolwere encouraged to participate in the plays. Therewere a lot of new freshmenjoining this year. The groupheld workshops on Fridays,and everyone was encouraged to attend.Officers for this yearwere: Thespian president,Bruce Lindman; Harlequinpresident, Susan Lester;secretary, Jessica Ost;treasuruer, Debbie Durham;and historian, Lori Billings.The officers had meetingsperiodically throughout theyear. Bruce also went toUniversity Middle School torecruit freshmen.The group worked veryhard this year and hadmarvelous productions.1. Missy Baldwin sits on SteveGrubbs knee during The Pajama Game.2.
