Description: Enthusiastic fanscrowded the stands towatch as the senior andjunior girls played in a fastmoving, clean cut game offlag football. Both sponsorsenjoyed the game. JimVanOsdol, the seniorsponsor, said it was aquick moving game withfew penalties. John Portle,the junior sponsor, said hethought is was getting tobe a clean game.Puff-ing Along!Over 150 girlsparticipated in the game.The seniors won with a 12-8victory. Touchdowns forthe seniors were made byDebbie King and PattyThompson. Regina Smithscored the juniorstouchdown, with the extrapoints added by KathyWinkler.Thanks to the support ofthe fans, the junior classwas able to make$2,295.00. All of the moneycollected helped finance thisyears prom. It paid forapproximately two-thirds ofthe expenses.No one had anycomplaints about the game.Everyone who went had agreat time, and all of theplayers had fun.
