Its You!1982 Regionals Champs! And Well Remember . . .. . . our regional win overIndian Creek, 71-64.Then there were the manysnow days, and the endlesscold-cold weather. Our 5%attendance policy was takenaway. Remember the time yougot caught in the new librarybook check, what an awful noisethat made? We made all thosetrips to University Middle Schoolfor the basketball gamesbecause our new gym floorwarped, and we made the trip tosunny Florida for springbreak. We watched the new fads(punk) and followed all the latestfashions (short skirts, prep, andall the metallic accessories). Wekept up with the current events, and carefully watched the effectof them. Reaganomics and theMCCSC Board decisions to cutspecial and athletic programsmade the greatest impressionson us. We sighed at the deathsof John Belushi and NatalieWood. There were concerts, I.U.games, and Friday and Saturdaynights on the town.We watched College Mallgrow twice its size as weendlessly shopped and huntedfor jobs. There were individuals whoexcelled and received tophonors, while thoughts about thefuture, and the importantdecisions to be made prevailedover everyone. Great numbersof college applications werefilled out, changed, thrownaway, and started over, whilethe new crop of sixteen yearolds sought drivers licenses. We danced endlessly as iffloating with the singing spirits ofthe spring prom, as the class of1982 stepped out to take theirfinal curtain call.Weve made it through thefirst decade of BloomingtonHigh School North—excelling asindividuals, and as one, together.Looks like we made it!V-■***«**■ j1*P0^ A^m\Special thaid—TelephThe End |
