Description: MM82Injuries Slow Down CougarsAlthough the Cougars record for the 1980football season doesnt speak too loudly, thereare reasons for it. Potential was there but thepower was weakened by many injured playersduring the first few weeks. Injuries occurringboth during and out of football subtracted fromthe teams power but not their determination.After the loss of five games, Cougars were upagainst a 0-5 record and highly ranked ColumbusEast and Bedford North Lawrence.
