MILNE speaks at a tea that FHAers helped to prepare.PROMOTING A growing appreciation of home life,Future Homemakers of America kept the idea of doingadult projects in mind throughout the year. A dressyclub initiation was celebrated. A jewelry sale took placeduring late November and December, with such itemsas rings, necklaces, bracelets, and pins being sold. Topromote goodwill in the community, the membersand sponsors, Miss Janice Kunz and Mrs. Betty Graebe,made Christmas cards for the nursing home.The planning of FHA week made March a busymonth for all members. During this week one projectwas planned for each day. Little Miss FHA was thefirst baby girl born on the first day. A dance wassponsored at the end of the week to wind up a weekfull of activities.
