Description: The 1965 baseball team, coached by Marvin Groh,tied an all-time BHS record with 18 wins. Their twolosses came at the hands of Columbus and Seymour,although both of these teams were beaten in othergames during the season. Bloomington lost the conference championship to Columbus in the final gameof the SCC tournament taking runner-up honors.Greg Easton and Bill Bush were co-recipients ofthe B-Man Award last spring. Greg led the teamin hitting with a .441 average and in RBIs with 27,and Bill posted a 12-2 record on the mound compiling a 0.87 earned run average. Captain Chris Shel-ton pitched a 6-0 record and batted .345.Although these three mainstays in the BHS lineup graduated, coach Groh will have six returninglettermen and the members of last years undefeatedreserve team to work with this year.JIM INMAN JUMPS HIGH to catch a wild throw.PLAYERS LISTEN intently to Mr. Grohs Comments on the game.113
