future farmers sponsor barbecueThe national organization of FFA has beenin existence at BHS since 1930. For the firsttime, the club was opened to girls as wellas boys, as long as they were enrolled in anagriculture class. The future farmers specialized in out-door barbecues this year as theirmain fund raising project. Over 200 ticketswere sold at the Football Homecoming barbecue. The members were awarded a certificate from the Indiana FFA Foundation in recognition of their contribution to the foundation. During FFA Week, an exhibit of the clubswork was put in the vocational display window.SOME FFA MEMBERS helped spread beauty by growing plants in thelibrary.FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA . . .
