The new coach, William Frohliger, gave theteam something lacking in past years—spirit anda desire for winning.The panthers scored a total 1047 points andtheir opponents scored 1147, for an average difference of about five points a game. Underclassmen David Terry, Steve Shields, Jade Butcher, andSenior Steve Clark provided a balanced scoring attack, with each of them averaging between tenand twelve points a game.
