Third row: Willie Smith, John Abbott, Jim Philpott,Earlah Brosman, Jim Stone, Jack Taylor, Richard Moman, Larry Stone, Neva Temples, Bob Stanger, Paul Shelton, Larry Pickens,Ron Stillions.Members Participated in State OrchestraOrchestra officers were Peggy Flaten, Larry Flaten, Suzy Corbin, andJim Philpott.The orchestra provided music for the Back toSchool Night program, presented a convocation,performed two evening concerts, played a Soloand Ensemble program and participated in theFive Star Orchestra Festival at Warren Central HighSchool in Indianapolis in the Spring. In additionto these activities, the members also sold fruitcakes during the first semester. Some of the proceeds were used to pay fees and travel expensesfor out-of-town musical activities. Some of thestudents were accepted as members of the 1964State High School Orchestra.70
