Members of student council are the elected representatives of each homeroom. The sponsors, Mr.John Jones and Mr. Russell Watson, and officers, BobJordan, president; Linda Greenwell, vice-president; Connie Fishel, recording secretary; Linda Wampler, corresponding secretary; and David Higgins, treasurer, guided the council in planning the years activities. Againthis year, it sponsored football homecoming, the BundleDays drive, the sale of basketball schedule pins, tookGothic orders, collected school picture money, andsponsored several after-game dances. The council alsoplanned and sponsored the All-School Dance, which washeld in the spring. This dance is semi-formal and opento all grades at BHS. Members voted earlier to appropriate money to buy the billboard announcement signswhich were put up on the Seminary Circle and at theticket booth on the football field at Walnut Street lastfall.Student Council members, Linda Wampler, Linda Greenwell, David Higgins, Mike Driver, and Susie McNamara decorate theChristmas tree in the front hall.
