Good passes were a part of thisgame.The over-confident Panthers went down in defeatin the Wiley game, 14-7.The Vincennes game was our homecoming. The teamplayed a good first half and used a strong defense tofight off a let-down in the second half with a 21-13victory.Solid offense and defense enabled the Panthers to defeat North Vernon, 27-0.Clinton posed a problem in the size of the players;but the Bloomington team again used an effective offense and defense to make 20 points and hold theWildcats scoreless.The Panther team took advantage of their power onthe ground in the last game of the season. Despite amuddy field and downpour of rain, break-away runsthrough the Linton line brought a winning score of42-0.Adding to the color of half-time performances during the football games this year were the seven B. H. S.Paul Miller tries going through the line in the Vincennes game.majorettes.
