S. was an important part of dramatics. Members were responsible for getting sets up for plays, seeing that thestage floor was clean for every rehearsal, working the lights, helping actorsand actresses on and off with costumes,seeing that the players had costumes,applying make-up to the players, arranging their hair in appropriate styles,seeing that properties were in theirproper places, and arranging for suitable publicity for the production uponwhich they were working. They werealso responsible for the sound effectson all plays.There were seven crews: costumes,properties, stage and scenery, lighting,sound effects, make-up, and publicity.Each crew had a crew head who wasdirectly in charge of his crew. Thestage manager was in charge of all crewheads. He worked directly under thesponsor who was Mrs. Sharon McNaughton.Members of the National Thespian Dramatic Honor Society.The PUBLIC ADDRESS STAFFwas one of the many student serviceorganizations at Bloomington HighSchool. The staff consisted of a groupof senior division boys who had the responsibility of maintaining and operating all public address equipment.The members of the staff were chosenby the sponsor on the basis of their industry, dependability, and interest.These boys worked at all of the ball-games, pep sessions, convocations, andall other school social functions, including after game dances. At least oneof the staff was assigned to the controlroom during the day in order to operate any equipment desired by teachers.John Pomeroy, a junior, was captainof the staff for this year.
