Burtonuse a duck-hunting experience to point out to them that themain thing in life must not be neglected. They were informed by Missionary Hendon Harris that they ought to putChrist first, others second, and themselves last.The purpose of the Hi-Y is to create and maintain and extend throughout the home, school, and community, highstandards of Christian character. The platform is cleap speech,clean sports, clean scholarship, and clean living. The freshman-sophomore Hi-Y conducted the annual Mile of Penniesdrive to raise money for food for needy families at Christmas.The club also assisted in the Easter Convocation.
